The CASE Winter Leadership Conference is the only conference that brings together public education leaders from every job position in the state. At an affordable price, the conference addresses the learning needs of school leaders by featuring nationally recognized speakers, more than 20 engaging breakout sessions and a robust legislative program.

J.D. Vance
New York Times Bestselling Author of Hillbilly Elegy

J.D. Vance has spent the past 10 years providing political and public policy commentary across the gamut of media outlets, including ABC, CBS, Fox News and, currently, CNN. Vance is a decorated investor, serving as a principal at the leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm Mithril Capital, and lawyer. While studying at Yale Law School, Vance worked at the school's Veteran Legal Services Clinic, providing free legal services to veterans of the Iraqi and Vietnam wars, an area he's familiar with as a Marine who served time overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Vance is the author of Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis, a New York Times bestseller hailed as a "brilliant book" by the National Review

Breakout Sessions

During the 2018 CASE Winter Leadership Conference, Excellence by Association, CASE offers more than 20 sessions totaling over 40 hours of professional learning. Attendees have the opportunity to engage with their peers on all the most timely and relevant issues facing Colorado K-12 education, including policy implementation, testing updates, legislative news, and all manner of innovative and relevant approaches to building the best school environments for Colorado's children.

All conference attendees are invited to one of the CASE Department Peer Sessions being held on Thursday afternoon from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Meet and engage with colleagues in your job-alike role. Further develop your professional network. Relax with your peers after an invigorating day of professional learning. Explore which session is best for you in the information below.
