2017 CASPA Board of Directors Election

The Colorado Association of School Personnel/Human Resources Administrators (CASPA) strives to promote and advance public education in Colorado through the cooperative efforts of public school administrators who have a professional responsibility for administering personnel programs involving licensed and/or classified school employees. To this end the department holds periodic meetings for the discussion of common problems and the exchange of pertinent information in the field of public school personnel administration. The department also engages in and/or recommends to other appropriate professional groups and government agencies specific action programs and legislation to promote a stronger system of public education through the adoption of sound school personnel policies and practices.

The CASPA Board of Directors sets the course and plans the activities for the department and helps connect what’s happening in the HR field to the work that CASE does on a daily basis. Board members gain a unique perspective on the issues and challenges facing their colleagues in other districts. They also have the chance to hear directly from CASE about the work of the association and to weigh in on those priorities. Board members build valuable relationships with administrators from across the state to share best practices, strategize, and better understand issues from a statewide perspective.
