Announcing our opening keynote for the 47th Annual CASE Education Leadership Convention
Everyone has a story to tell, remarkable or not, and those everyday stories “might help us recognize that simple truth: that every life – every single life – matters equally and infinitely.” That’s the belief behind StoryCorps and its founder Dave Isay, who will join CASE as the opening keynote, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 for the 47th Annual CASE Education Leadership Convention.
Not only will Isay share about the power of authentic stories, but CASE will also provide ways for attendees to tell their own stories about their school communities – a chance to highlight the tremendous work happening day-in and day-out across Colorado.
Principal and Central
Office Focused Summit Seminar
We are pleased to announce that the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership will be hosting a Summit Seminar
(three hour workshop) during the CASE Convention titled: Improving Principal Performance: The Role of the Central Office.
The workshop will help participants understand what central office leaders need
to know and do in order to support principals as instructional leaders. The
Center for Educational Leadership will share best practices from their work
around the country and across urban, suburban and rural school districts.
Luncheon with the Commissioner
CASE will once again partner with CDE during a special luncheon at the Convention on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. This event will feature Commissioner Rich
Crandall and top CDE staff, providing a prime opportunity for Convention
attendees to ask questions about the topics that matter most.
