Leadership Development Diversity Program Applications due September 15, 2014

This leadership program was created by the CASE Diversity Council to help address the shortage of administrators of color in Colorado’s public education system. As the population of students of color continues to grow, especially in urban school districts, there is little opportunity for students to encounter positive leadership role models of similar culture, race and/or ethnicity. Through self-reflection, homework assignments and group exercises, this program will help participants consider the role of leadership in their professional life, assess their strengths and opportunities for growth and engage in a mentoring experience with leaders of their choosing. Learn more on our website.

Aspiring to the Principalship Applications due November 3, 2014

As a participant in our long-standing and effective training course, “Aspiring to the Principalship,” individuals who hold administrative licenses or are working toward an administrative license, will be prepared to effectively apply and interview for leadership positions. The course will also give participants an opportunity to enter their job search with insight into current issues facing education leaders in Colorado, as well as a clear understanding of the personal and professional attributes they bring to the job search process and principal position.

This course is designed to meet the needs of aspiring administrators and will contain both online and in-person course elements. Learn more on our website.
