The 2020 CASE Superintendents Conference has been designed to support the most unusual restart of school in our careers. We know that the most valuable and important aspect of this annual event is the opportunity to dialogue and learn from one another, so we have created a program agenda with this goal in mind. In addition to exploring some of the complex legal issues and questions currently facing K-12 in the areas of health and safety, employment, free speech and more, we will talk together about the biggest policy issues CASE plans to focus on in the 2021 legislative session. Woven into every agenda item will be ample time to network and visit as colleagues, to find support and solutions that each of us can take back to our own districts.
Superintendent input indicates a preference for holding this conference in-person, so as to maximize the value of personal interaction and face-to-face learning. Working in thoughtful collaboration with our host venue
hotel, CASE is putting into place certain health and safety measures to ensure compliance with current state-level guidelines. These include limiting the number of attendees in each meeting room, ensuring social
distance during conference sessions by allowing only 4 individuals to sit at each table, and using a non-contact thermometer to take the temperature of attendees each day.
One meeting room will have live presentations, while any additional rooms will have the presentations streamed into them simultaneously. Additionally, Beaver Run Resort is operating with enhanced guidelines, cleaning
and safety measures and reduced booking capacity. Although these event elements are different than any of us are used to, the health and safety of our members is our highest priority and we appreciate your flexibility.
In the event that CASE is forced to cancel this in-person event due to COVID-19 restrictions, all registration fees and hotel reservations are fully refundable. (Additionally, if an attendee is forced to cancel their
registration due to a COVID-19-related illness, all registration fees and hotel reservations are fully refundable.)
We look forward to connecting with you in Breckenridge in September!
Conference fee: $225
*Attendance is limited to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and BOCES Directors. Not open to commercial partners. Registration will be reviewed by CASE, and CASE retains the right to cancel registrations it deems inappropriate.

understand that it will not be possible to make changes to any registration details selected beginning a week prior to the first day of the conference or on-site.
