Western Slope Superintendents will once again gather in Grand Junction for our Fall Conference on Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16. Many attendees choose to arrive Wednesday evening, as the conference begin with a pre-conference finance meeting at 10:00 AM Thursday. The conference officially begins at 1:00 PM on Thursday and ends that evening with a networking hour followed by dinner, which makes for a full day. Friday is another fast-paced morning filled with learning and updates to take back to your respective districts, and typically concludes around 11:30 AM, allowing the afternoon to be used for return home travel.

Working in thoughtful collaboration with our host venue hotel, Western Slope Superintendents and CASE are putting into place certain health and safety measures to ensure compliance with current state-level guidelines. These include limiting the number of attendees in each meeting room, ensuring social distance during conference sessions, and using a non-contact thermometer to take the temperature of attendees each day. Additionally, DoubleTree Grand Junction is operating with enhanced guidelines, cleaning and safety measures and reduced booking capacity. Although these event elements are different than any of us are used to, the health and safety of our members is our highest priority and we appreciate your flexibility.
In the event that Western Slope Superintendents and/or CASE
is forced to cancel this in-person event due to COVID-19 restrictions, all registration fees and hotel reservations are fully refundable. (Additionally, if an attendee is forced to cancel their registration due to a COVID-19-related illness, all registration

The member attendee full conference (two days) registration fee is $140.00.
The member attendee Thursday or Friday one-day registration fee is $75.00.
The non-member attendee registration fee is $250.00. Approval from Western Slope Superintendents for non-member attendance must be received prior to registering. Non-member attendance is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The room block rate is $96.00 per night (+ state and local taxes). If applicable, be sure to submit a valid tax exemption certificate and completed affidavit when you check-in at the hotel. The $96.00 per night rate is available for the nights of
Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15, 2020. A first night’s room & tax deposit via a valid major credit card must accompany all individual reservations.
