July 29, 2015 - 1:45 PM - 4:45 PM

DoubleTree, Columbine A

The financial landscape for public schools in Colorado is confusing, unstable and multifaceted. Join us for this extended learning session where we will explore state-level multi-year financial models that take into account various potential scenarios impacting school finance, including:

  • Negative Factor
  • TABOR rebates
  • Reclassification of the Hospital Provider Fee as an enterprise fund
  • Increased Assessed Values on personal property
  • Potential outcomes of the Dwyer Case
  • One-time funding for earmarked programs

In addition to investigating financial models, we will dedicate time to developing communication plans and strategies to inform your local community of the impact of school funding on your local schools.

This session is ideal for superintendents, business officials and school PR professionals.
