Leadership, Equity and Diversity Program (LEAD)

One of CASE's primary goals in professional learning is to continue to build the pipeline for future and emerging leaders. The LEAD Program supports this effort with its instruction specifically geared toward public educators of color, who are ready to thoughtfully explore and consider potential next steps in their career. Our instructor team with expertise in leadership development facilitates the seminar series, which is consistently highly-ranked by participants for its value and quality.

As the population of students of color continues to grow across Colorado, there is still too little opportunity for students to encounter positive leadership role models of similar culture, race and/or ethnicity in their schools and districts. CASE is committed to supporting aspiring leaders of color in order to build a more representative, diverse and equitable candidate pool for these leadership roles.

This multi-part seminar series offers participants the opportunity to assess and reflect on their leadership capacity, opportunities for growth, and to understand and identify the types of leadership roles they may want to pursue. Aspiring leaders of color who would like to explore becoming a teacher leader or school or district administrator, are welcome to apply to the program. To ensure a high-quality learning experience, only those who can commit to each of the individual seminar dates should apply.

CASE will announce dates for the 2020 LEAD Program this spring or summer; check back for more information!
